Sikuliaq's Home Port: Seward, Alaska


The town of Seward, Alaska resides 126 road miles south of Anchorage, Alaska on the Seward Highway . Anchorage is Alaska's largest city and is the main traveling hub for the state. There is no scheduled commercial flight service to or from Seward. Aircraft can be chartered to Seward from Anchorage but flights are limited to VFR conditions. The Alaska Railroad provides passenger service to Seward via the Coastal Classic, during the tourist season (summer months). Bus services to/from Anchorage often change. Please Note:

Sikuliaq will at times tie up at the Alaska Rail Road Dock which is a secure facility in Seward. As such, non-TWIC carrying cruise participants may need to be escorted to and from the ship. Contact the Marine Superintendent for more information on getting personnel and your cargo to the ship.
